du and ENOC partner on significant advanced managed connectivity solution in the region
In a significant regional advanced managed connectivity deal, du signed a partnership agreement with ENOC during GITEX Technology Week to provide the energy group with advanced managed connectivity solutions for its headquarter, service stations, and ZOOM stores. The deal is for an initial 120 sites and outlets.
In line with the agreement, du is providing ENOC with a scalable and robust network to further enable the Group’s service station network expansion plan in the UAE. The telco will provide cutting edge technology and an ideal solution based on du fiber ‘as a primary solution’ and du 4G/LTE ‘as active backup solution’ for each site. This solution provides higher speed enabling faster and more reliable transactions and will support ENOC’s drive towards developing smart solutions that enhance customers’ experience. In addition, the agreement offers ENOC the benefit of leveraging du advanced managed connectivity solution to run its network based on high availability and concrete solution offered through du fiber and LTE network backbone.
“At du, we understand that a premium internet service is pivotal to any business and its ability to stay connected. Adoption of managed ICT services leads to cost savings, frees up a company’s IT staff and makes best use of available resources. ENOC will benefit from du solutions in a number of ways, starting with the replacement of its connectivity solutions to ensure it has the performance capabilities to take the necessary steps towards a smart future,” said Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Executive Officer, du.
“With the advent of smart governance services in Dubai and the UAE, the implementation of comprehensive, quick and reliable networks is critical.
