du introduces “The Executive Plan Plus” in partnership with Air Miles
Following the super success of the Executive Plan, du now introduces the Executive Plan Plus – a complete plan created to go above and beyond the communications needs of high-flying executives and small-medium enterprise (SME) owners. Announced in partnership with Air Miles, the plan will allow customers to earn Air Miles when they sign up to the new The Executive Plan Plus.
The new plan combines premium benefits and the ability for customers to earn Air Miles on their monthly spend. A ceremony attended by senior executives from du and Air Miles, was held at the du head offices to mark the announcement.
In addition to benefits such as national and international minutes and data, incoming and outgoing roaming minutes, customers can enjoy their own Gold mobile number, a free smartphone worth AED2,749 , free LTE service and 100% discount on calls to customer’s Closed User Group (CUG).
The first 1000 “The Executive Plan Plus” customers will receive 30,000 Bonus Air Miles as a welcome bonus, and all customers who subscribe to the plan will receive two Air Miles for every AED1 of usage every month. On top of this, they will get a Gold Air Miles card that will allow them to redeem Air Miles for a wide variety of rewards including airline tickets, electronics, jewellery, entertainment, dining and more.
“We pride ourselves on our constant innovation and working with partners such as Air Miles will enhance the benefits to our customers. The Executive Plan Plus is a natural evolution, offering even more tangible and intangible benefits. Now customers will not need to pay upfront amount for their smart phone, nor pay any roaming deposit – which is sure to add to their convenience. The Gold number from du is the icing on the cake, it is something we know is of high importance for this segment of the market,” said Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Commercial Officer, du.
“Joining Air Miles will put the brand in front of a wealth of new and existing customers from the programme’s member base, and gives us invaluable exposure in terms of attracting new customers as well as rewarding our current ones. The great thing is that customers only have to tell us their Air Miles number and keep talking to reap those Air Miles rewards,” Hassawi added.
Air Miles Middle East Managing Director, Mark Mortimer-Davies said this new partnership reflects du’s commitment to differentiate itself from its competitors and reward existing customers.
“In the competitive telecom market, the partnership between Air Miles and du offers a tangible point of difference by allowing du to reward existing customers and attract new ones,” he said. “Businesses are increasingly turning to loyalty programmes to reward their customers as well as increase their understanding of them and this exclusive partnership provides du with this competitive advantage.”
“As the first telecom operator in the programme, this partnership will provide our members with another new way to collect Air Miles, based on their monthly mobile billing.”
