As an important part of its 6th anniversary celebrations, Nawras is actively thanking all customers for their support by giving them the lowest mobile call rates in the Sultanate. With this incredible offer, all Nawras to Nawras calls will be only 10 Baizas a minute on a Friday, allowing customers to get closer to their friends and family while enjoying fantastic value.

This exciting 6th anniversary offer kicks off on Friday 18 March and continues every Friday until midnight on 22 April 2011.  There is no need to subscribe, as all Nawras customers will automatically benefit from the exceptional value on offer for this 24-hour period each week.

Announcing the reason behind the great offer, Nawras Marketing Manager – Prepaid, Aziz Al-Harrasi, said, “On the occasion of the 6th Anniversary of Nawras, we wanted to celebrate by showing our sincere appreciation to every customer in the Nawras family.  This very special mobile tariff will make it easy to catch up with friends and family on Fridays and it is our way of saying a big thank you to all our valued customers.”

Since Nawras began introducing pleasingly different mobile telecommunications in March 2005, the company has worked continuously to deliver great value, innovation and customer friendly service. Even In its initial year of operation, Nawras, a Qtel Group company, was keen to deliver an unparalleled experience for customers. Nawras became the first operator in the Sultanate to offer customers national calling rates irrespective of distance; first to offer prepaid roaming in the UAE; first to offer credit transfer by SMS and first to offer mobile internet.

Every year since has seen further innovation as Nawras, a member of the Qtel Group, continues to focus on customers and design new products and services that are in line with its vision of being committed to making telecommunications easier, more versatile and always a rewarding experience.  Now, as a full service provider, Nawras remains as dedicated as ever to being the communications provider of choice in Oman.
