Boeing buys cyber-defense software company Narus

Aircraft giant, Boeing, is purchasing cyber-defense software company, Narus, The Wall Street Journal reports. Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to close in the third quarter, were not disclosed.

Narus, which has nearly 150 employees, will become a wholly owned Boeing subsidiary in defense, space and security unit. The acquisition will help Boeing develop smart-grid energy work, threat-detection systems and other products to help secure complex networks.
