SAP delivers networked economy solutions
SAP is helping Middle East customers achieve value from the networked economy through innovative partnerships with industry leaders, the company announced at the recent SAP TechEd and d-code event in Berlin.
Samsung Electronics and SAP have planned to deliver enterprise mobility solutions for a number of industries – starting with retail, oil and gas, finance, and healthcare – to create an enterprise mobility ecosystem building on Samsung’s mobile innovations and the SAP Mobile Platform.
The developers can build solutions that leverage the integration between Samsung and SAP on mobile devices and wearables, and cloud solutions based on the SAP Hana Cloud Platform mobile services.
SAP is also planning to combine insight with customer engagement to help marketers deliver increased precision, new audiences, and more conversions.
By using Facebook’s scalable custom audiences targeting capability with SAP solutions for customer engagement, businesses can quickly and cost-effectively scale their campaigns and e-commerce.
The SAP Customer Engagement Intelligence solution powered by SAP Hana will enable organisations to combine customer data with buying history to better target online advertising.

SAP also announced three new Internet of Things solutions, including the Predictive Maintenance and Service solution, Connected Logistics software, and the Manufacturing Execution application.
S-innovations, for customers in lines of business in industries built on SAP Hana, will drive their digital and cloud transformations. Designed to deliver ultimate simplicity and instant value, s-innovations will set a new standard for business software in a complex and networked world.
SAP is embarking on a co-innovation pilot program with Shell and Volkswagen AG to investigate how connected vehicles would interact with the world around them. The ongoing pilot in Hannover, Germany, aims to lay the foundations for services including connected fuelling.
Helping customers and partners on their SAP Hana journeys, SAP launched a simple tool with 11 journey maps including the Business Suite, Business Warehouse, and Simple Finance solutions, along with the SAP Hana Enterprise Cloud service and SAP Hana Cloud Platform.
