Nawras has launched another store in Salalah, taking the total number of stores across the Sultanate to 25. The official opening ceremony this week was attended by VIP Guest, HE Sheikh Salim Bin Aufait Al Shanfari, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality and head of the organising committee of Khareef Salalah 2011 , together with special guests from Lulu, Nelson Phillip, Country Operations Manager and Unni Krishnan, Mall Manager Salalah and senior managers of Nawras, Oman’s customer friendly communications provider.
In commenting on the opening, Shanfari said, “I would like to extend my congratulations to Nawras on the opening of its new store in Salalah as another achievement in the expansion its services across Oman. I am confident that this store will provide customers as well as our very many visitors to Salalah Festival with a convenient way to buy and pay, making communication easier, more flexible and more rewarding. I wish Nawras all the very best and thank them for their continued investment into the Dhofar region. Dhofar receives many visitors during the Khareef season and recently we announced plans to attract even more tourism visitors throughout the year not just for the summer. Nawras is supporting these plans by continuing their investment in new stores and network in the region.”

Conveniently located in the well known LuLu Hypermarket in Salalah, Nawras store is open from 9.00am until 10.00pm Saturday to Thursday and on Friday from 9.00 am until 11.30am and from 2.30 pm until 10.00 pm.
Visitors to the store can see demonstrations of Nawras Mobile and Home Broadband Internet as well as test routers, modems, iPads and laptops which are set up as working examples to make it easy for people experience the pleasingly different way Nawras does things.
