Apple has decided to lower the prices of the six iPad models on sale in Brazil. Currently, about 150 outlets sell the device in the country. The basic 16 GB model with Wi-Fi now costs US$845.31; the 32 GB model costs US$1026.58 while the 64 GB model is available for US$1027.85.
With a 3G connection, the discount ranges from 7.7{e1f18614b95d3cd6e4b3128e1cd15d99b042a60a5a19c19b7a8e07e7495efa10} to 12.2{e1f18614b95d3cd6e4b3128e1cd15d99b042a60a5a19c19b7a8e07e7495efa10} on previous prices. The entry model (16 GB) now costs US$1087, the 32 GB model costs US$1268.27 and the 64 GB model costs US$1449.54. The price cuts come ahead of the launch of the newer version of the iPad later this year.
