Batelco adds new features to O Cinema

Bahrain’s leading mobile services provider Batelco has enhanced its very popular O Cinema service by adding the option for customers to select their seats at the time of booking tickets.
Batelco had started the unique ‘O Cinema’ service earlier last year becoming the first company to launch such a service in Bahrain and the Gulf region.
With O Cinema, Batelco customers can book and buy their cinema tickets anytime and anywhere by visiting cinema.o.com.bh online or on their mobiles.
The convenient service allows customers to select the Bahrain cinema, number of tickets and movie of their choice, along with the show time. Now with the latest enhancement, customers can view the seating layout and select from the available seats.
Once the purchase is confirmed, the customer is given a code which may then be used at Quick Serve machines located at select cinemas in Bahrain to collect their tickets. Currently the O Cinema service is available for City Centre, Saar, Seef 1 and Seef 2 Cinemas.
“O Cinema service, which has been a huge success, means that there is no need to queue, as customers may go directly to the quick serve machine, enter their confirmation code and collect their selected tickets,” said Batelco Group general manager Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi.
“We have enhanced the process to add the option to select seats in response to feedback from our customers,” he added.
For prepaid mobile customers, the cost of the cinema tickets will be deducted from their credit while postpaid customers will be charged in their telephone bill.
In addition to this service, customers may also find out what movies are currently showing, plus their ratings, casting and plot overview, along with show times for the day, by visiting cinema.o.com.bh online or on their mobiles, Al Janahi noted.
