BATELCO and BENEFIT Discuss Business Relationship Opportunities

Mutual Cooperation Delivers Convenience for BENEFIT and Batelco Customers

Senior management from Batelco, Bahrain’s leading telecommunications provider and BENEFIT, Bahrain’s Electronic Network for Financial Transactions, participated in a workshop, held at Batelco Headquarter in Hamala recently. Under discussion at the workshop were a number of topics aimed at enhancing the partnership already in place between the two companies and the development of services to provide the financial sector with additional value-added services over Batelco’s state-of-the-art IP network.
Batelco already provides services directly to financial companies and banks, and indirectly, via BENEFIT. The rich portfolio includes services such as MPLS IP-VPN, ICT services, Mobility, Bulk Messaging, Internet plus more.
By working cooperatively, Batelco and BENEFIT management are confident that they can achieve their goals to deliver competitive advantages and add more convenience for the customers of both organisations.
Batelco Chief Executive Bahrain Rashid Abdulla and BENEFIT Chief Executive Abdulwahed Janahi with a number of Batelco and BENEFIT senior management attended the workshop. During the meeting, a number of initiatives that are planned to be implemented in the short term were discussed, as well as a number of long term objectives, which both organisations will explore to ensure their potential added value.
The Batelco Bahrain Chief Executive said that the discussions held with BENEFIT provided both organisations with an excellent opportunity to further develop their sound relationship.
