A number of Batelco personnel including General Manager HR Bahrain Suhaila Alnowakhda attended the opening of Galleria 2011, which took place recently at the Gulf Convention Centre, under the patronage of Minister of Human Rights and Social Development & Acting Minister of Health H.E. Dr. Fatima Bint Mohamed Al Balooshi.
Batelco, as Bahrain’s leading telecommunications company and a keen supporter of community events, was delighted to lend its support to Galleria 2011, organised by Pro-Vision Events Bahrain. The event provided a professional and stylish showcase for Bahrain’s female entrepreneurs and newly established businesses, under the categories of Fashion, Design, Accessories, Food and related products.
At the opening ceremony, Mrs. Alnowakhda received a special memento from Dr. Al Balooshi presented in appreciation to Batelco for their support of the exhibition.
Batelco Group General Manager Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi said that Batelco was very pleased to be associated with this event as it particularly focused on the ladies of the community with the aim of fostering their talents and helping them to reach a wider audience to showcase their creativity.
