Huawei Hosts Workshop for Batelco Employees at Batelco’s Headquarters

Batelco, the Kingdom’s leading integrated communications company was delighted to welcome Huawei, the leading global telecommunications solutions provider and a key Batelco partner, to their Hamala Headquarters on June 28. The visiting Huawei team hosted a workshop, under the title of Smart Transformation, Smart Solutions for Batelco’s Network teams.
The workshop provided Huawei with the opportunity to showcase some of their products, services and solutions and share with the attendees how Huawei can assist Batelco with future business transformations.
John Ford, CTO of Batelco and Leo Xu, Vice President of Middle East region, Huawei, opened the event with welcome speeches which were followed by a number of presentations by Batelco and Huawei industry experts.
Mr. Ford thanked Huawei for hosting the workshop and for sharing their latest innovative solutions with Batelco.
“Over the years, Huawei has been instrumental in helping Batelco achieve some very important milestones including delivering the Kingdom’s first NGN (Next Generation Network).”
“Partnerships, such as the one we have with Huawei, are a crucial component in facing the intensifying competition in the local and regional telecommunications industry,” he added.
Mr. Xu thanked Batelco for providing the venue and opportunity to host the key workshop saying that such occasions served to strengthen the great partnership that Batelco and Huawei have enjoyed for many years.
