Manchester United’s world famous Asian football star, Park Ji Sung, and Commercial Director, Mr. Richard Arnold, are visiting Hong Kong to promote Manchester United’s (Man Utd’s) partnership with PCCW and strong content line up on MUTV (Channel 640), the official TV channel of Man Utd.
MUTV will deliver live and exclusive coverage of Man Utd’s 2011 U.S. Tour. Currently, the channel offers recorded coverage of Man Utd. matches in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League, and a wide range of exclusive content of the world’s most popular football club.
Between July 14 and July 31 (HK Time), MUTV will offer comprehensive coverage of four key matches of the club’s U.S. Tour, with the kick-off match against New England Revolution in Boston. It will also play against other Major League Soccer clubs in Seattle and Chicago, and finish with a showdown with the winner of this year’s UEFA Champions League – FC Barcelona in Washington D.C., an exciting repeat of the recent final in Wembley.
In addition, for the first time in Hong Kong, Man Utd. has teamed up with now TV in the production of a new TV commercial featuring star players Dimitar Berbatov, Paul Scholes, Patrice Evra, and Antonio Valencia to promote the 2011 U.S. Tour and MUTV. Starting from July, Man Utd. fans should stay tuned for this unique localized commercial featuring their favorite players.
