Nawras rewards customers for receiving calls

Nawras, Oman’s customer friendly communications provider, is thrilled to be announcing an exciting addition to its popular Elite Program. All customers can now be rewarded for receiving calls after talking for just five minutes or more.  From today, every incoming or received call that exceeds five minutes will earn customers five bonus points which can be collected and cashed in for free SMS and free calls.  As part of the company’s pleasingly different loyalty programme, Nawras customers are now being rewarded for both making and receiving calls.
Mobile customers will gain loyalty points on all calls of five minutes or more received from any other Omani mobile number, whether this originates from a Nawras customer or a customer of another operator.  Points will also be gained for international calls, on the same basis.
Nawras Home Voice customers will receive points on inbound calls lasting five minutes or more from any other Home Voice customer, from customers of other operators in Oman as well as for international calls received.
A regular SMS will be sent to customers detailing the number of Elite points they have gained and showing the number of received calls that have lasted five minutes or more. The rewards naturally apply equally to Nawras Ajel (postpaid) customers and Nawras Mousbak (prepaid) customers.
To benefit from the Elite Program, Nawras mobile customers simply dial *147*21# and press send or enter.  Home Voice customers can opt into the programme online through MyNawras.  After a matter of seconds, the loyalty programme is active and customers can start to collect points and be rewarded for talking, sending SMS or MMS as well as using the internet.
After the first 90 days, points can be redeemed for free recharge or used towards a reduction in a bill.  To check their balance of points, customers dial *147*22# and a return message will detail the total number of points accumulated.
Launched earlier this year, the Elite Program allows every single Nawras customer to be rewarded for their telecom use.  It has been incredibly well received by a large number of Nawras customers who enthusiastically recognised and welcomed the great advantages being offered to them. After opting into the Elite Program, they are now enjoying the extensive benefits and promotions being offered to them.
The Elite Program is built on the success of the existing invitation-only Nawras Elite Club.  Gold Nawras Elite Club members (with regular monthly spends of over 25 Omani Rials) receive bonus points equal to 50 percent of the Elite Program tier points accrued in the previous month.  Likewise, Nawras Elite Club Platinum members (who regularly spend a minimum of 100 Omani Rials per month) receive a bonus of 100 percent of their tier points, every month.
In addition to Elite points, all Elite Club members get unmatched value, premium recognition and unique rewards like airport pick and drop and meet and greet, restaurant discounts, AAA roadside assistance and access to the Plaza Premium lounge at Muscat International Airport in addition to Elite Program points.
