Nawras, Oman’s customer friendly communications provider is delighted to introduce an exciting new international call offer giving customers the benefit of fantastic savings when talking to friends and family abroad. By simply using the VoIP prefix 0902 instead of 00 while dialling internationally, significant reductions will be applied to all calls lasting longer than one minute.
After the first minute of a VoIP (voice over internet protocol) call at the standard international calling rate, the price drops by 15{e1f18614b95d3cd6e4b3128e1cd15d99b042a60a5a19c19b7a8e07e7495efa10} for the second minute. From the third minute onwards, Nawras customers get even greater value with a 30{e1f18614b95d3cd6e4b3128e1cd15d99b042a60a5a19c19b7a8e07e7495efa10} discount off the standard rate.  These special low rates apply irrespective of whether a call is made by a mobile or Home Voice line and are valid until 30 January 2012.
For example, after dialling ‘0902’ from a mobile number during off peak hours, the second minute of a call to the United Arab Emirates or India which will charged at the reduced rate of only 84 Baiza and from the third minute onwards, it will be only 69 Baiza per minute.
In other examples, mobile customers calling Egypt during off peak hours will see the price per minute drop to as low as 118 Baiza.  Meanwhile mobile customers calling the United Kingdom will be charged at just 132 Baiza per minute for the third minute onwards.
