PCCW Global Limited, a subsidiary of Hong Kong’s premier telecommunications provider, PCCW Limited, and Palestine Telecommunications Company (PALTEL), an integrated telecom operator in the Palestinian Territories, have signed a MPLS Inter-Carrier Interconnection (ICI) agreement to strengthen coverage in the Middle East and beyond.
PCCW Global and Paltel will cooperate to provide high quality and cost-effective MPLS services to Palestinian enterprises via PCCW Global’s robust infrastructure, which covers 1,500 cities in 110 countries worldwide.
Mr. Frederick Chui, PCCW Global’s Senior Vice President of Global Marketing & Sales, said, “Palestine’s telecom market has enjoyed tremendous growth in recent years. Our cooperation with Paltel will enable us to get a foothold in this market and extend our coverage in the Middle East.”
