Qtel, Mashreq in online payment pact

Qtel customers can now check their accounts and pay bills through Mashreq’s web and mobile banking services following a partnership agreement between Qatar’s leading telecommunication services provider and the bank.
Mashreq Qatar’s partnership with Qtel give customers “unparalleled access” to a range of products and services.
“With dedicated investments in future-oriented digital banking platforms, the integrated services of MashreqOnline &
MashreqMobile will grant access to a whole range of options such as instant opening of accounts, term deposits ,
MashreqMillionaire, utility payments, money transfers and credit card payments,” Qtel said.
Reaffirming Mashreq Qatar’s progressive commitment to Qatar’s digital infrastructure, Mashreq Qatar Country Head Howard
Kitson said, “We have been at the forefront of designing innovative technology to provide our customers a seamless range
of services round the clock, and are delighted to partner with Qtel in achieving this goal.”
Qtel customers can now select the “Utility Bills” option on the MashreqOnline site and “make easy payments whenever they
need to”.
“Customers can also use the highly-advanced security features of the MashreqMobile service to make worry-free payments via
their mobile phones,” Qtel said.
