Qtel said its Dawli customers will be able to call many countries in Asia and the Middle East and North Africa using ‘Dawli Asia’ and ‘Dawli MENA’ international calling cards for QAR 0.49 a minute. With the Dawli Asia international calling card, customers can call countries including Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Macau, Singapore, South Korea, the Philippines, Thailand and Taiwan for QAR 0.49 a minute. Calls to Egypt, Syria and Sudan will cost QAR 0.49 a minute with the Dawli MENA Card. A number of other Middle East and North African countries, including Iraq, Libya, Palestine and Yemen, can be reached for QAR 0.69 a minute using the Dawli MENA card, while calls to Algeria, Morocco, Somalia and Tunisia cost QAR 0.99 a minute. Qtel said Dawli international calling cards can be used from any Qtel mobile or landline, and offer the same rates round-the-clock.
