Qtel to provide bonus credit on roaming

Qtel will provide ‘bonus credit and great value’ on roaming for its Shahry Value Pack and Hala customers this summer.
Until July 31, Shahry Value Pack customers can use their local minutes in their packs to make local calls and for incoming roaming minutes, at no extra charge.
The bonus minutes can be used for both voice and video calls while roaming, anywhere in the world.
This means Shahry 60 Value Pack plan customers, who get 100 local minutes every month, can use all 100 minutes to receive calls overseas at no additional cost, as well as for local calls.
Customers using the Shahry 1000 pack get a ‘bumper bundle’ of 5,000 minutes that can be also used to receive calls while roaming, offering incredible value.
Hala customers are also getting an ‘incredible bonus’ this summer, with all customers who top up with QR100 or more receiving 100 free incoming roaming minutes to use anywhere in the world, on top of their regular credit amount to use for any other services. This is also valid until July 31.
One of Qtel’s ‘most popular’ services for travellers in the GCC is the ‘SmartRoamer’ service, which enables all Shahry customers to call home for QR2 and call within the country for QR1 per minute.
Qtel also offers the Shahry Passport, which offers roaming rates in the most-visited European destinations and the US.
For customers who are staying in Qatar this summer, Qtel is offering ‘great value’ for international calls and a credit bonus when they use Hala service.
Hala customers can now call almost any country for Dh66 a minute, during both peak and off-peak periods.
Additionally with the Hala 15/15 offer, customers can earn a bonus QR15 worth of credit when they spend QR15 with Qtel, enabling them to make even more international voice and video calls.
