STC offers the latest phone from Sony Ericsson with Bravia Screen and Arabic supporting Android

STC offered its customers the Arabicized Sony Ericsson Xperia arc device, with various features and specifications, powered by the “Google Android version 2.3”, and it is considered the latest version of “Xperia” smart devices. Customers can purchase the device in any offices for SR 2399, which also includes 8 GB microSD memory chip, screen protector, luxurious leather pouch, car charger and HDMI cable. STC will also offer its customers SONY stores vouchers valued at SR 100, in addition to a prepaid SIM card with a 250 MB Quicknet package every month for six months.
The device is a perfect palm fit with its 125.0 x 63.0 x 8.7 mm dimensions and weighs 117 grams. The device’s screen is very clear powered by the Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine, where the picture and the videos are displayed vividly and in high resolution with its 854 x 480 pixels /4.2” 16,777,216 color TFT screen. The camera is distinguished by its 8.1 HD megapixel powered by Sony Exmor R , where viewers can enjoy an improved contrast, bright colors, richer and less interference in images, which can be displayed on regular TV screen with HD quality. The device also includes a 512MB built in memory, with the ability to support up 32 GB, and an exterior 8 GB microSD chip.
Mr.Jameel bin Abdullah, President of the customer service department at STC, talked about the release of the device by stating that “STC is in the leadership position with regards of ongoing initiatives related to offers and smart devices. The partnership between STC and Sony Ericsson is a strategic partnership in offering exclusive and advanced solutions to its customers, by releasing smart devices and supporting it with suitable internet package to operate applications that Xperia arc offers.
For his part, Rudiger Odenbach, the General Manager of Sony Ericsson in the Middle East, stated: “we started 2011 strongly, by launching the Xperia arc phone, which is a part of our great Xperia phone collection. The phone combines the latest in Sony technologies with a unique design that is sure well satisfy its users, and it is all prepared with the latest Android operator system.”
