Indian mobile operator Bharti Airtel will be ready to launch LTE service in Bangalore in the next 30 days, reports the PTI. Airtel CEO Sanjay Kapoor said the operator has selected Huawei as network equipment vendor. Airtel has also selected Nokia Siemens Network for its launch in Maharashtra and is yet to finalise the telecoms equipment vendor for the Punjab circle. Airtel has selected Pune and Chandigarh to start LTE service in Maharashtra and Punjab respectively. Airtel’s president for consumer business K Srinivas said the network has the potential to provide download speed of 100 Mbps and the present speed can be upgraded based on market demand.
