Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise focuses on Application Fluent Networks, addressing BYOD, Convergence and Data Centers at its Dynamic Tour 2012 in Abu Dhabi and Marrakesh

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise today announced the dates for this year’s Dynamic Tour dates for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region: Abu Dhabi on 30 May 2012; followed by Marrakesh on 7 June 2012. This year’s events will focus on building network architectures that – despite the challenges they are facing today – offer enterprises the mobility, efficiency and flexibility that the modern users expect.

As more and more smartphones and tablets with their applications and embedded multimedia capabilities enter the enterprise communications arena from the private sphere, enterprise networks face more challenges including the explosion of big data, new 10G interfaces, datacenter convergence, and real time voice and video integration; among others. This worldwide phenomenon called BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) forces enterprises to rethink networks and IT systems and control the access to different enterprise platforms.
Mixed in among first-hand customer testimonials, the event will also discuss the latest announcements of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s award winning Mesh that uses a unique ‘direct connect’ architecture that form a single, seamless datacentre network that can easily allow resources to  be automatically reallocated. The company will also share information on its popular Application Fluent Networks that enable a high-quality end-user experience for delivery of real-time applications along with reduced complexity for IT and network managers.
As one of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s Gold sponsors of the Dynamic Tour, Citrix is a leading provider of cloud, collaboration, networking and virtual computing solutions that help companies deliver IT as an on-demand service. Citrix will address how to empower mobile work styles and cloud services, making complex enterprise IT simpler and more accessible for organizations. The event is also supported by Gold Sponsor Nexans, a worldwide expert in the cable industry. Nexans will address how the traditional office environment is evolving and what are the consequences and the issues to consider while designing an IT infrastructure in the office as well as in the data centre.
Other Gold sponsors include FVC, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s authorised VAD (valued added distributor) across the Middle East region as well as Al Futtaim Technologies, one of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprises leading system integrators in the UAE.
The Dynamic Tour is also supported by Orange Business Services, part of the Orange France Telecom Group providing communications services to multinational companies around the world.
