Batelco Bahrain Tennis League 2nd Season

Batelco, a major supporter of sporting events in the Kingdom of Bahrain, is pleased to be supporting the second season of the Batelco Bahrain Tennis League which began on November 3rd. Batelco announced its three year partnership with the Bahrain Tennis Federation last year to support the success of this major tennis event.
The Batelco Bahrain Tennis League  features three categories:-  the Super League, which is open to tennis players of a high level, the Social League, for members of tennis clubs throughout Bahrain and the Junior League, for entrants under 16 years old. All nationalities are welcome to participate in the great sporting challenge  and the winners will be the players who accumulate the most points in league matches over the six months of the competition.
The Super League and Junior League matches will take place at Bahrain Tennis Federation’s courts located at the University of Bahrain, Isa Town, while the Social League matches will be played at club courts throughout Bahrain.
Batelco Group General Manager Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi said that Batelco was very happy to support the Bahrain Tennis  Federation to ensure the success of the league over a three year period.
“The sponsorship forms part of our commitment to the community and sports initiatives that aim to encourage everyone, particularly young people, to participate in a variety of sporting challenges. Being involved in sports helps to foster good relationships as well as being a great way to remain healthy and fit,” said Mr. Al Janahi.
Bahrain Tennis Federation spokesman Adnan Kamal extended the Federation’s gratitude to Batelco for their ongoing support which is crucial in ensuring the success of the tennis league.
“This key event on the Bahrain sporting calendar provides a great opportunity for young tennis players to experience competition and hone their game with a view to winning a place on Bahrain’s National Tennis Team,” he said.
