Batelco Chairman and Group CEO Attend Official Opening of BAPS 2012

His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa officially opened the Bahrain Animal Production Show (BAPS) 2012, for which Batelco is one of the main sponsors. Batelco Chairman Shaikh Hamad Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa was delighted to be in attendance at the official VIP opening on Wednesday evening 21st March. Shaikh Hamad was accompanied by Batelco Group CEO Shaikh Mohamed Bin Isa Al Khalifa and Batelco Bahrain CEO Rashid Abdulla.
Batelco, Bahrain’s leading Telecommunications Company, donated BD30,000 to support the event that has been organised by the Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Ministry and is taking place under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad. In addition to financial support, Batelco has also provided WiFi throughout the exhibition trade area to facilitate data communications for visitors at the event.
The Batelco Chairman Shaikh Hamad Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa said that Batelco was delighted to be among the main sponsors of the special event that aims to provide entertainment and education for residents of the Kingdom and the huge crowds of visitors that spend the weekends in Bahrain.
BAPS 2012 at Bahrain Endurance Village, Sakhir, will continue until Tuesday evening with events and shows taking place from 10am to 7pm daily. Details are available on www.agrishow.gov.bh in both Arabic and English.
