Keeping in line with its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and giving back to society, Cisco employees from the Dubai office have lent support to Emirates Marine Environmental Group (EMEG) by taking part in a range of community initiatives.
With employee volunteering being a central component of Cisco’s community involvement efforts, a group of Cisco employees together with EMEG volunteers, spent one day cleaning a beach reserve that is a nesting ground for the critically endangered Hawksbill sea turtles. In addition, the group participated in a mangrove sapling planting and cleaning session in a mangrove lagoon that is a habitat for marine and bird life.
