Globalstar selects Globe Electronics as national re-seller

Mobile satellite voice and data services provider Globalstar Europe Satellite Services has selected Globe Electronics as Spot re-seller. Globe Electronics will act as a national re-seller for Globalstar’s suite of Spot messenger products to the marine and outdoor recreation markets within the French mainland territory via their established dealer network. Spot messenger devices, including Spot Satellite GPS Messenger and Spot Connect have initiated over 1,500 emergency rescues worldwide. Spot provides connectivity to adventurists, travellers and workers when spending time outdoors or travelling in remote areas. Spot allows users to check-in and share their locations with their contacts back home. Users can send SOS messages with their GPS location to the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Centre (IERCC).
