PCCW Global and IFX Networks link Ethernet networks in Latin America

PCCW Global, an operating division of HKT, Hong Kong’s premier telecommunications service provider, and IFX Networks, a regional network service provider with an extensive Ethernet platform in South America, have interconnected their Ethernet networks to enhance service offerings in the Latin American market. This agreement is an expansion of the existing MPLS relationship between PCCW Global and IFX Networks to deliver even better quality and more cost-effective Ethernet and MPLS solutions. IFX Networks’ customers can enjoy Dedicated and Switched Ethernet Services deployed on PCCW Global’s leading-edge international MPLS backbone with full guaranteed use of bandwidth and greater flexibility in terms of scalability and enhanced feature options.
