In a record-breaking time, STC completed the first phase of the Ministry of Justice “Saheefat Al-Dawa” project. As part of the project, STC developed and installed the Business AVL service on the Ministry’s vehicles associated with retrieving parties to court.
The Ministry of Justice had requested STC’s expertise to provide technical solutions to the Business AVL service, which is one of the services and solutions that employ G.P.S technology, and which was developed specifically to provide the Ministry of Justice with the ability to track its vehicles at all times, to ensure that these vehicles are performing the tasks they’ve been assigned with. The service has many features including the ability to identify locations and safety zones, and a speed limit warning system.
In this regard, the Director of Telecommunication and IT at the Ministry of Justice, Engr. Majed Al-Adwan, stated that STC’s Business AVL service has given the Ministry a lot of features and enables it to confirm and track the movements of employees responsible with retrieving parties to court. He added that the service enables the Ministry to identify locations of its vehicles at all times, and is a viable addition to the “Saheefat Al-Dawa” program. Al-Adwan added that technology and features were not the only valuable additions to the program, but that the after-sale technical and customer support is what is most attractive about STC’s contribution.
It is worth mentioning that the Business AVL service, which is offered by the Enterprise sector at STC to governmental entities and security institutions, has received praise and positive review from its customers. The service was welcomed as a great feature that enables these organizations to track and identify vehicle positions at all times, enhancing the performance and improving the workflow of these organizations to the highest standards of proficiency.
