STC introduced major discounts on voice-call roaming rates in Gulf countries, to reach up to 74{e1f18614b95d3cd6e4b3128e1cd15d99b042a60a5a19c19b7a8e07e7495efa10} off in some networks. As per the new offer, which begins on Saturday, September 1st, 2012, the price per minute of local calls made in the roaming country is slashed down to SR 1.03, while the price per minute of long-distance calls (to KSA or another gulf country) is down to SR 2.49. These prices are applicable on all Gulf networks.
