STC has doubled the range of Wi-Fi service, which it provides, exclusively and free, for customers of indoors broadband packages and VERVE.
STC reinforced its covered sites by adding Al-Tayyar Tarvel and Tourism reserved sites at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, in order to facilitate surfing the internet wirelessly, by using the same indoors user name and pass word of the subscriber and still kept being connected to the internet around the clock, in high speed and efficiency, from only one source without any extra charge or prepaid payment.
Providing Al-Tayyar customers at the three airports with a free Wi-Fi service falls in line with STC interest in meeting its customer needs to surf the internet, live, while they are outdoor, that they may do their business, immediately on the spot, and to go ahead of their expectations, especially that Al-Tayyar is a partner of STC-sponsored Qitaf.
This service covers 1068 site and more than 2500 contact station and focus on more frequently visited sites by customers, such as cafes, seafronts, public plazas, malls and commercial centers, in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.
It’s noteworthy that STC introduced, exclusively, free Wi-Fi service in March, 2009 for its customers of indoors broadband packages and VERVE, the latter is a service providing very fast access to the internet, featuring wireless and broadband techniques.
Wi-Fi pre-paid cards provide all customers, also, with wireless access to the net, at all covered sites which could be known through the electronic Portal m3com.com.sa.
Customers could restore the user name and the password in case of losing them, by sending a SMS using no. 8111 accompanied by a vacuum, no. of the phone, then the region code number to 907, or through IVR to contact 907 and abide by the instructions or by visiting stc.com.sa Portal.
