Saudi Telecom enriched Al Ehsaa’s first Shopping and Entertainment Festival 2012 with its participation through a number of entertainment and community activities. The event organized by Al Ehsaa Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Al Ehsaa Tourist Development Council is organised with the strategic partnership of STC.
Al Ehsaa festival witnessed for the first time, The ‘Field of Challenge’, an event organized and supervised by STC. The STC activities provided plenty of exciting and entertaining moments for the Festival guests. The programme, which witnessed a number of impressive activities included events like overcoming barriers in high speed, passing the ‘Vestibule’ Maze and maintaining the balance. The ‘Field of Challenge’ is a one-week activity in which STC grants exclusive prizes such as iPad, iPod, BlackBerry and cameras. There are awards for the contestants and visitors all along the programme and festival.
His Excellency Saleh bin Hassan Al Afaleq, President of Al Ehsaa Chamber of Commerce, thanked STC officials for their strategic partnership stating that it enriched the Festival and helped make it a successful event through a number of attractive activities for the visitors.
His Excellency said STC’s participation in social responsibility activities and actual field programmes not only served the residents and visitors from the region but has also assured it of continued support from its customers.
In other activities during the Festival, STC supported people in need from Al Ehsaa Region and honoured visitors in the ‘Field of Challenge’ event. The visitors enjoyed all the programmes and the folk village markets set up during the Festival. In line with its social responsibility programmes in different regions of the Kingdom, STC also extended support to the orphans in Al Ehsaa region during an event in Al Bustan Mall.
STC sponsored Al Ehsaa’s first Shopping and Entertainment Festival under the patronage of HRH Prince Bader bin Muhammad bin Jelawi, Governor of Al Ehsaa. STC continues to support entertainment and shopping events that contribute to the development of the local economy. In line with the company’s comprehensive vision, STC’s sponsorship of Al Ehsaa Festival is part of its social responsibility programme and in accordance with its comprehensive plans to improve the lifestyle of community members, providing various services and leisure programmes to different segments of the society.
