Nawras gets closer to customers as Gold Sponsor for Muscat Festival 2013

Nawras is delighted to renew its long-term commitment to Muscat Festival as a Gold Sponsor for this hugely entertaining annual event. From 30 January until 28 February, visitors are invited to visit the Nawras stands while enjoying the largest series of cultural and entertainment events in Oman including a celebration of international creative talents, rich crafts from around the world and interactive activities for all ages.
Nawras will be showcasing its wide range of pleasingly different products and services at stands in Al Naseem Park and Al Amerat Park, giving customers the chance to have a first-hand experience of the latest offers and promotions as well as having the opportunity to enjoy some fast online gaming.
Khalid Al Zadjali, Nawras Events and Protocol Manager, said, “We are thrilled to once again be sponsoring Muscat Festival as the event continues to gain more popularity year on year.  It provides the perfect platform for residents and visitors to get closer to Nawras.”
Over one million people visit the festival each year and 2013 will bring together 440 stalls from 30 countries to give the event a bigger and better global appeal. Customers will be able to visit the Nawras stands to find out how they can get same day, plug and play Nawras Home Broadband, test the latest handsets and devices and feel the speed of the new turbocharged network.
Al Amerat was the first area to be upgraded to the latest technology with new network equipment introduced to all of its base stations in August 2012 and a recent doubling of broadband speeds and capacity took place as part of the extensive, ongoing Turbocharging Programme. The Programme is now delighting customers with faster speeds, higher quality services and greater coverage from Al Bustan to Al Suwaiq and it is continuing.
Taking on a key role in the large events organised by the government, Nawras has been able to have a direct impact on the community as a keen supporter of national activities. Nawras will also reach out to more people and customers by sponsoring the upcoming annual Tour of Oman cycling race and Salalah Tourism Festival.
