TELSA 2013 OFFICIALLY INAUGURATED AND OPENED BY COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMMISSION

In a special ceremony held last night alongside the TELSA 2013 event, and attended by the Saudi Arabian telecoms and ICT community, winners of the inaugural 2013 Saudi Telecom Awards were announced.
The Best Saudi Telecom Innovative Vendor award went to Ericsson, Best Saudi Telecom Operator (Business Services Provider) was awarded to Integrated Telecom Company, Mobily won the Best Saudi Telecom Operator (Customer Service Provider) Award, and Zain was awarded two awards – Best Saudi Telecom Operator (LTE  Broadband Service) and Best Telecom Operator (Value Added Service).
In its 2nd edition, the three-day event is taking place in the Four Seasons Hotel following a very successful first event in recognition of the growing importance of the telecoms industry in Saudi Arabia. “Day One was a great success, which allowed exhibitors to showcase their products and services to a wide variety of stakeholders and benefit from the unique product mix TELSA offers,” said Mr. Hussain Al-Harthy, Managing Director, National Exhibitions Company, organizers of the event.
Integrated Telecom Company, winner of the Best Saudi Telecom Operator (Business Services Provider) Award were extremely pleased with the recognition received. “We thank the team behind this achievement and customers who acknowledge Integrated Telecom Company’s support and quality of service. We’re very happy to receive the Award during our seventh anniversary” said Nadim Abouhamad from Integrated Telecom Company.
TELSA 2013 is running until 12 February 2013 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Riyadh and features an exhibition, conference sessions and networking events.
