The European Union yesterday issued a set of guidelines, referred to as the “5G toolbox”, and allowed Huawei to continue participating in Europe’s 5G roll.
The guidance comes just a day after the British government officially approved Huawei’s involvement in 5G networks in the United Kingdom.
Huawei has been present in Europe for almost 20 years and has a proven track record with regard to security. We will continue to work with European governments and industry to develop common standards to strengthen the security and reliability of the network,” added Liu.
