What does this all mean for LunarCrush users?
In addition to rewarding users for their opinions given with Lunr token, there’s major benefits to the entire community every time an opinion is given.
Improved data accuracy
Well over two million social posts are collected and classified each day from across many social channels. As every post is collected, it’s analyzed for sentiment, spam, and many other characteristics by a robust machine learning system which is continually improving. Classifying this huge amount of data requires some very specific training and modeling which requires a lot of feedback at a huge scale.
Adding user opinions is a great method of improving the accuracy of all collected information. At the huge scale that LunarCrush provides, this will give LunarCrush users the most accurate and properly classified data in the entire cryptocurrency space. Once enough data is collected in the coming days, LunarCrush will add visualizations that summarize all collected opinions given from across the community. You’ll soon be able to see how everyone is feeling and dive deeper to understand how specific types of users are voting. How are users in India feeling about the crypto market today vs. users in Spain or the United States? Are Bitcoin holders more bullish than other types of holders? The possibilities around opinion-driven insights are going to be endless.
As this information becomes visualized, sharing options will be made available to share these insights across the web. These amazing insights will help LunarCrush users provide even greater value when sharing across the web.
Enhanced rewards
What’s in it for you? Providing opinions on the crypto market on LunarCrush will not only be valuable to the community, it’ll also reward any user who gives an opinion. Depending on which LunarCrush level you’re in, you can earn anywhere from 1–3 points for each opinion provided.
