With a focus on four international events – COSMOPROF, the world’s leading trade fair for the entire beauty industry; SANA, the International Exhibition of Organic and Natural Products; MARCA by Bologna Fiere, Private Label Conference and Exhibition; and ZOOMARK INTERNATIONAL, the International Exhibition of Pet Products and Equipment – BolognaFiere was at the centre of one of the initiatives promoted by the Emilia-Romagna regional administration to showcase the region’s excellence at EXPO DUBAI.
Speaking at the meeting were Domenico Lunghi, Director of the Private Label Food and Pet Industry Business Unit, Ruben Sacerdoti, Head of Internationalization at the Emilia-Romagna regional administration, and taking part were stakeholders, professional operators and exhibition organisers interested in expanding forms of collaboration with international players.
The meeting provided an opportunity to illustrate the important business opportunities in the Middle East area for the product sectors of the four events in question, but also an opportunity to promote new business involving the BolognaFiere Group’s extensive range of events and develop ties with the operators from the area interested in attending the main international events on the BolognaFiere calendar.
The cosmetics and beauty, private label, organic and natural products and pet care sectors represent commercial areas of interest for the Middle Eastern market, a strategic bridge to other important geographical areas and, in parallel, these sectors currently offer important opportunities for exporting ‘Made in Italy’ products to the region.
