Prince Khaled Al-Faisal honors stc for its 15 smart technology services and advanced digital solutions for the Hajj and Umrah Conference

Prince Khaled Al-Faisal; the Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region has honored stc Group, for its efforts to enrich the experience of pilgrims and its support for the Hajj and Umrah conference, which was inaugurated today under the slogan “Transformation towards Innovation”, Eng. Riyadh Muawad, Chief Business Officer of stc received the trophy.

stc’s participation stems from it engagement as a leading national company and its pioneering role in enabling digital transformation in accordance with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. This is achieved by implementing the objectives of the conference through providing a range of smart technical solutions for the Hajj and Umrah sector in various fields including transportation, security services, self-service devices as well as advanced health services.

During its participation in the conference, stc will showcase a range of smart services and solutions that contribute to improving the digital infrastructure and communications networks in the Holy Sites, specifically the 5G networks. Moreover, the group offers smart platforms for “smart pilgrimage” using Internet of Things and artificial intelligence technologies, such as environmental sensors, site productivity monitoring devices, electronic portals, and maps with augmented reality technology in addition to smart television monitoring centers (CCTV) equipped with artificial intelligence technologies and surveillance smart vehicles.

stc also showcases advanced health technologies, including virtual clinics, which provide medical consultations through remote communication technologies to raise the level of health care for the Hajj and Umrah sector in their various locations, in addition to providing monitoring and emergency devices for the elderly and drones to deliver medical supplies.
