stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers, enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, announced its participation as a platinum sponsor in the 9th eGovernment (EGOV9) Forum, that will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Mazen Saad Al-Nahedh, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs.
The EGOV9 conference will be held on October 23rd-25th at the Al-Baraka Ballroom in Crowne Plaza Hotel – Kuwait and will witness the participation of various leaders within the government sector and executives from the private sector. The forum will provide participants with a platform to exchange opinions and experiences, hold informative lectures, and organize technical and specialized workshops. The event will cover various subjects related to developing and strengthening eGovernment programs, promoting digital transformation, as well as incorporating key innovative concepts into social and economic fields. The initiative aims to accelerate growth within the government and private sectors by utilizing the latest technological solutions, whether the focus is on institutions, SMEs or sole proprietorship.

The conference will be organized by the Kuwait Federation of Engineering Offices and Consultant Houses (KFEOCH) and NoufEXPO in cooperation with the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT), government agencies, as well as companies from the private sector and speakers from Kuwait and abroad. Bearing the slogan “e.Government is a Pillar of Comprehensive Development Renaissance”, the EGOV9 conference aims to trigger a comprehensive digital renaissance in Kuwait through the exploration of innovation, digitization, and digital transformation. The transformation aims to leverage the modern technological solutions available in this digital era to facilitate and streamline the path towards achieving some of the key pillars behind Kuwait’s Vision 2035.
EGOV9 will be addressing the foundations and methods to implement Kuwait’s eGovernment program that will digitize existing government procedures into online applications. The shift to the eGovernment programs will increase efficiency and ease of access, while leading to a modern information-based society through a comprehensive and integrated plan. The programs will be targeting vital areas such as education, health, business development, and the application of good governance and government programs.
