On 7 April 2025, in Dushanbe (Tajikistan), Intersputnik, at the invitation of the Communication Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, attended the International Forum ‘Digital Transformation: Prospects and Solutions’.
Intersputnik Director General Ksenia Drozdova held a working meeting with the Head of the Communication Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Isfandiyori Sadullo to discuss the opportunities of developing bilateral cooperation in Tajikistan and across the entire Central Asian region. At the forum opening ceremony, Ksenia Drozdova addressed the attendees with a welcome speech.
The event was organized by the Communication Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the eve of the 27th meeting of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications Commission on the Regulation of the Usage of the Radio Frequency Spectrum and Satellite Orbits, which representatives of Intersputnik attend on a regular basis. Joint discussion of hot topics at the international expert level allows strengthening and expanding the basis for mutually beneficial cooperation in various sectors of the communications agenda in the region.
In her opening address, Ms. Drozdova spoke about the key role space technologies play in building a digital ecosystem in the complex terrain of Central Asia.
Intersputnik has extensive experience in building digital information and communication networks in regions with complex topography and is ready to provide Tajikistan, a Member of the Organization since 1994, with expertise, resources and support in implementing strategic initiatives.
Ms. Drozdova also noted that Intersputnik, as an international organization, built its activities on the principles of equal partnership and unification of the scientific potential of Member States.
“Central Asia, including Tajikistan, occupies a special place in our work. Here, we combine international experience with a deep understanding of local specificities by involving local experts. Our projects — from cloud platforms to artificial intelligence-based solutions — are aimed at creating intelligent communication systems adapted to the needs of the region,” said Ksenia Drozdova. “The course towards the introduction of innovations, including the development of digital infrastructure and smart technologies, will become the basis for improving the quality of life of citizens, efficient resource management and sustainable economic growth.”
