The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is set to sign an agreement today in Islamabad with a local software company to take over the management of Pakistan’s mobile number portability (MNP) system. This development marks a significant milestone, as the local firm will replace a globally renowned multinational company previously managing the MNP service.
