STC reduces MMS rate to 25 halalas per message

STC continues to offer the best services and products for the lowest prices through its major discounts to postpaid and SAWA customers. The company announced new discounts on multimedia messages (MMS) service; the new price is equivalent to that of a normal text message (SMS), which is 25 halalas for messages sent within the network. The discount pulled the price down from 55 halalas per message. The offer lasts for 3 months beginning from Wednesday the 15th of August, 2012, until Wednesday the 14th of November, 2012. MMS service allows customers to send visual and audio messages, in addition to video files and text files to any cellphone or email address across the world, with a capacity 4 times as large as was previously possible, up to 600KB per message, even while roaming outside the kingdom.
Through the new discount, STC is reaffirming its commitment to customers, and is sending a strong message that it continues to listen to their wishes to ensure meeting their demand and winning their satisfaction, by performing detailed analysis and research involving customer usage followed by solutions and development of its services, supported by the fact that it possesses the largest telecom infrastructure enabling it to provide exclusive solutions and services.
In this regard, STC continues its “SMS Key” offer for current and new customers, by which customers receive a boost in the amount of free text messages (SMS) available to them per month, while the price remains the same. SMS Key allows customers 5000 free SMS within the network for SR12 per month, while the “International Key”, also billed at SR12 per month, allows customers to call international destinations for a standard rate of 99 halalas per minute for all countries. The offer lasts until the 28th of August. To take advantage of the “SMS Key” and other service offers (such as Friends Key, International Key, My Club Key, and Student Key), the customer must be a subscriber to one of the main Jawal packages (Easy, Easy Plus, Zero, or Zero Plus).
