US-based IP communications infrastructure provider Sonus Networks reported fourth-quarter revenues of USD 83 million, up from USD 68.7 million in the year-ago quarter. Product revenues fell to USD 54.1 million from USD 47 million, while service revenues grew to USD 28.9 million from USD 21.7 million. Net profit grew to USD 11.4 million or USD 0.04 per share from USD 10.3 million or USD 0.04 per share. Cash and cash equivalents amounted to USD 62.5 million at the end of the quarter. The company expects to achieve total revenue between USD 265-285 million for this year. GAAP gross margin is expected to be within the range of 58-62 percent, and total GAAP operating expenses are expected to be in the range of USD 151-155 million. Non-GAAP gross margin is expected to be within the range of 59-63 percent on an annual basis, and total non-GAAP operating expenses are expected to be in the range of USD 143-147 million for this year.
