Bankuish was announced as winner of the esteemed 4YFN25 Awards during a ceremony held today on the Banco Sabadell Stage at MWC25 Barcelona. Bankuish from Colombia was selected following an electric on-stage pitching competition judged by a panel of experts from the investor community, taking place in front of a live audience of industry professionals, entrepreneurs, government officials and the public.
For the first time, 4YFN featured this year’s Top 20 startups in the 4YFN Awards zone (Hall 8.0), giving attendees an opportunity to experience the cutting-edge AI solutions shaping the future of fintech, sustainability, health tech, and more.
Five exceptional finalists
Five finalists were chosen from a shortlist of the Top 20 startups, judged on criteria including innovation, traction, market potential and fit, and impact. Each contender demonstrated breakthrough innovations across diverse sectors, from construction to banking and even space exploration:
- Bankuish: A Colombian fintech startup that revolutionises credit access for gig workers by challenging traditional banking models with a more inclusive financial evaluation.
- Horus ML: A Spanish digital health startup that leverages AI to enhance clinical decision-making, advancing early diagnosis, personalised medicine, and remote monitoring for chronic disease patients.
- Qflow: A UK climate tech startup that enhances waste management in the construction sector with real-time analytics, driving efficiency and sustainability.
- Ramon.Space: An Israeli space computing startup that takes computing to space with systems designed to operate in extreme environments.
- Rockfish Data: A US synthetic data startup that extracts intelligence from critical sectors, enabling businesses to anticipate market shifts.
Following the thrilling onstage pitching competition, Bankuish triumphed to clinch this year’s prestigious award and a €20,000 cash prize courtesy of the GSMA Foundry.
