Registration is open as the global mobile industry prepares to meet in Shanghai for three days of hands-on showcases, global partnerships and cross-industry collaboration
Ahead of MWC26 Shanghai, the GSMA has announced six new dedicated zones, as well as returning show favourites, showcasing the latest innovations and breakthroughs in Mobile AI, satellite, eSIM, 6G and beyond. Taking place 24-26 June 2026 at the SNIEC, the event will once again bring together industry leaders, technology innovators and policymakers from across the global mobile ecosystem to explore the technologies and ideas reshaping Asia and beyond.

From satellite connectivity to smart cities, and frontier AI to the factory floor, each MWC Shanghai zone will spotlight the emerging technologies, global partnerships and industry verticals defining the region’s next wave of connectivity and innovation:
- Global Innovation Pavilion: The international centrepiece of MWC Shanghai, bringing together governments, trade bodies and industry alliances to build new partnerships and unlock growth across AI, 5G-Advanced, 6G, cloud, satellite, digital trade and smart industries. Exhibitors include Gyeongsang Province of South Korea, NTT Data, UK Department for Business and Trade, UNICEF and .
- Mobile AI Innovation Frontiers: Powered by China’s three major mobile operators and born from the newly formed Mobile AI Joint Working Group, this is a live, hands-on showcase of the full mobile AI stack, from silicon and frontier models to AI-native robots, cars, glasses and beyond.
- Digital Transformation Verticals Zone: Leading pioneers from manufacturing, healthcare, automotive, fintech, sustainability and more take to the stage and exhibition floor to demonstrate how digital transformation is reshaping entire sectors, through live demos and dynamic showcases.
- Constellations of the Future: MWC Shanghai’s first-ever dedicated satellite industry zone, arriving at a pivotal moment ahead of the ITU WRC-27 in Shanghai: set to unite tech leaders, governments and the mobile ecosystem in building the next era of terrestrial and non-terrestrial network integration. Exhibitors include APT Mobile Satcom, China Starwin Science & Technology, Geespace, Hefei Rhosoon Intelligent Technology, Iridium, LQ SpaceAI, PlusXtech, SPACE AIC, Spacesail and Telecommerce.
- City Pavilion: An invitation to cities worldwide to share smart city success stories, attract investment and showcase the businesses, including SMEs, driving their digital transformation, powered by connectivity, open data and interoperable payments. The zone will feature Beijing’s Solution Pavilion showcasing 16 companies so far, with more to come, as well as Shanghai’s Pudong District.
- 6G Zone: bringing cutting-edge 6G technologies out of the laboratory and onto the world stage, offering a comprehensive view of China’s 6G development ahead of WRC-27.
- eSIM Zone: A one-stop showcase of the full eSIM value chain, from mobile operators and module manufacturers to device makers and platform providers, highlighting a technology that GSMA Intelligence forecasts will help drive licensed IoT connections from 2.5 billion in 2022 to 5.3 billion by 2030. Exhibitors include Beijing Huahong, China Unicom, Chutian Dragon, HED, Lenovo Connect, Tongxin Micro, Watchdata, Wise Security Technology, Yoocar Network Technology.
