Orange Jordan provides mobile services to the Jordan University of Science and Technology

Orange Jordan, the sole integrated telecom operator in the kingdom, recently signed a partnership agreement with the Jordan University of Science and Technology to provide the latter with mobile services. This step comes as part of the agreement Orange Jordan signed with the government last year.
This partnership was signed by Vice President Orange Jordan CEO Jordan Data Communication Company Ltd Sami Smeirat, and the President of the Jordan University of Science and Technology Abdullah Malkawi.
“We are pleased to sign this partnership agreement with such a prominent educational institution,” Smeirat said.
“We are committed to providing state-of-the-art telecom services with competitive prices, thus reinforcing our leading role in the growth and development of the ICT sector in the Kingdom. It also comes in-line with our efforts to deploy our technical expertise to better serve the educational process and contribute to its development,” Smeirat added.
For his part, Malkawi expressed his delight in signing this agreement with Orange Jordan, highlighting the company’s leading role in providing the latest telecom offers and services. He pointed out that this step will reflect positively in fulfilling the university’s goals.
It is noteworthy that Orange Jordan was awarded last year the government tender for mobile services. On the other hand, Orange Jordan provides various telecom services that include fixed and mobile as well as wired and wireless Internet. It also offers networking services and business solutions, all within varied bundles of advanced technology.
Furthermore, the company provides the government sector with the 3G+ services, which was first launched by Orange Jordan in 2010, through offering cutting-edge services such as video call, conference call and high speed wireless Internet.
