Batelco Presents Prizes to Winners of A’ara Scheme

Batelco, the Kingdom’s leading telecoms company, has hosted a special celebration at Batelco Headquarters recently to recognise staff who have contributed to the future success of Batelco by suggesting  new ways to enhance products, services and modes of operation as part of the Company’s A’ara Scheme.
Batelco’s A’ara  Scheme, which has been in operation for more than 15 years, provides the opportunity to all Batelco staff to contribute their suggestions towards enhancing Batelco’s level of services, enhance customer satisfaction, improve current policies and procedures etc. Staff members can win up to BD10,000 as part of the innovative scheme.
Batelco Bahrain CEO Rahid Abdulla and Batelco Bahrain General Manager Suhaila Alnowakhda attended the event along with a number of Batelco Bahrain General Managers, senior managers and line managers. Eleven Batelco employees were recognised on the occasion for their invaluable suggestions which were selected from among hundreds of ideas put forward from all sectors of Batelco’s staff. The winners were presented with trophies and cash prizes.
Both Mr. Abdulla and Mrs. Alnowakhda gave brief speeches in which they praised all employees for their great suggestions and offered their encouragment to all staff to keep offering their contributions via the A’ara Scheme.
Batelco Bahrain CEO Mr. Abdulla extended his appreciation to all those who took the time to delvelop a variety of creative suggestions saying that he was very impressed by the creativity shown by many.
“I encourage everyone to keep the ideas flowing to support Batelco’s efforts to remain competitive and the first choice for customers’ telecom needs,” he added.
Mrs. Alnowakhda explained that A’ara forms part of Batelco’s continuous efforts to encourage their employees’ creativity and participation in the company.
“We regularly review the suggestions put forward and present trophies and cash awards to the staff that contributed the ideas that are selected for implementation,” she said.
