Batelco Creates E-Services Accounts for Broadband Customers

Batelco, the Kingdom’s leading communications services provider continues to enhance its online options for the benefit of its customers. Accordingly, Batelco is currently in the process of introducing more customers to its e-Services portal and eBilling service, to add to their convenience and put a wider range of Batelco’s online services at their fingertips.

Starting from mid June, Batelco will create e-Services accounts for all of its Broadband customers that are not already registered for the services and will also enable the eBilling feature so that customers will benefit from the convenience of receiving their bills via email each month. Batelco will provide the details of the new eServices accounts via email. Upon the customer’s verification for the email sent, the eServices account and eBilling feature will be activated.

Once confirmed, customers will start to receive their telecom bills via email and will have the option to use the eServices portal to pay their telecom bills using credit or debit cards, from the comfort and convenience of their home or office, or via their smart phones or laptops no matter where they are. Customers can also opt to stop their paper bills in favour of receiving them by email only.

Batelco’s e-Services portal also provides ease of access for customers to a range of services such as managing their broadband or mobile accounts, subscribing or upgrading to a range of broadband and mobile services, customizing mobile packages, reserving ‘nice’ mobile numbers plus much more, in addition to viewing and paying their bills.

Batelco launched eBilling in 2009, the first company in the Kingdom to offer electronic bills directly to customers’ email accounts. The free service was introduced to meet the demand from customers for electronic services that are easy to use, convenient and additionally environmentally friendly, by eliminating paper bills.

Customers who already have an e-Service account may visit and access eServices via the new login link now available on the homepage. New customers are also invited to register via the homepage. The site is user friendly and includes educational tutorials for the assistance of customers.

Furthermore, Batelco has launched a special promotion which will run until August 31st. Customers who pay their bills online will be entered into a monthly raffle to win BD50 cash and iPads. Each month, 24 lucky customers will win BD50 cash, a total of 72 winners over the duration of the promotion. Additionally, the two highest payers each month will win an iPad, a total of 6 iPads throughout the campaign.
