Japan’s leading mobile operator by subscribers, NTT DoCoMo, has announced the launch of two new tablet devices for its 4G LTE service, dubbed Xi. The two tablets are the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE SC-01D and Fujitsu’s Arrows Tab LTE F-01D, and both will be available from October, it said. DoCoMo launched its 4G network in late-December 2010 and at the last count reported 296,200 Xi subscribers as at 31 August.
