Etisalat, ADDED ink deal to develop ICT services
Etisalat signed a deal with Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), in a move to develop advanced telecom and ICT services and applications, helping ADDED to serve better the growing business community.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed recently by Etisalat’s chief business officer Salvador Anglada and Mohammed Rashid Al Rumaithi, executive director of Abu Dhabi Business Centre of the Department of Economic Department.
“UAE’s position as the region’s business hub is becoming stronger, and with it, demands of businesses to keep pace with the fast changing technological environment,” said Anglada.
“Small and medium businesses in particular need solid connectivity to boost their reachability, transparency and competitiveness.
“We are very excited to partner Abu Dhabi Development of Economic Department in helping businesses grow in the Emirate with the help of our sophisticated telecom and IT services and solutions,” he added.
Ali Fahad Al Nuaimi, manager of Commercial Relations, Abu Dhabi Business Center of Department of Economic Development, said: “We look forward to our joint cooperation with Etisalat to enhance our service delivery and organisational efficiency across ADDED and its agencies. We are confident that Etisalat’s experience and technological prowess will be of great benefit to ADDED’s march towards adopting smart applications for improving ease of doing business in Abu Dhabi and increasing the Emirate’s competitiveness and IT readiness.”
Through the agreement, Etisalat will develop advanced solutions for effective flow of information that facilitate and simplify procedures across ADDED and its agencies.
