SAP certified as Top Employer Middle East and Top Employer Saudi Arabia 2016
SAP Middle East, along with nine other countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has been officially certified by the Top Employers Institute for its exceptional employee offerings.
The annual, international research undertaken by the Top Employers Institute recognizes leading employers around the world: those that provide excellent employee conditions, nurture and develop talent throughout all levels of the organization, and which strive to continuously optimize employment practices. SAP has been awarded the exclusive Top Employers Middle East and Saudi Arabia and 2016 Certification.
“Creating a diverse and inclusive culture makes us a better company, fueling our innovation, enhancing our experience of work, and enabling us to succeed in a rapidly changing world,” said Nelly Boustany, Head of Human Resources, SAP MENA.
“As companies undergo digital transformations, functions and processes, including Human Resources, are being radically reinvented. And with that reinvention, Human Resources will assume a new kind of leadership role helping to shape the workforce of tomorrow,” added Nelly Boustany.
The Top Employers Institute globally certifies excellence in the conditions that employers create for their people. It has just announced the results of this year’s research into the employee conditions of significant employers worldwide.
SAP Middle East is one of the select organizations to achieve the Top Employers Middle East Certification, and is delighted to be officially recognized as a leading employer.
“I am very proud of this achievement for SAP Middle East. The official certification from Top Employers in 2016 confirms SAP Middle East is on the right path, offering the conditions for our people – our greatest asset – to thrive and succeed, along with our customers, in this digital era,” said Gergi Abboud, Managing Director, SAP North Africa, Middle East, and Pakistan.
“SAP Middle East is committed to localizing global best practices in human resources and using our Training and Development Institute to develop the next generation of Millennial leaders. In the fast-paced Digital Economy, SAP staff need to be self-starters and quick learners, who are committed to teamwork, accountability, and adding value to our customers,” added Gergi Abboud.
Crucial to the Top Employers Certification is the completion of a stringent research process, and meeting the required standard in order to achieve Certification. To further reinforce the validity of the process, all answers were independently audited, meaning this research has verified SAP Middle East’s outstanding employee conditions and earned them a coveted spot among a choice group of certified Top Employers.
The Top Employers Institute assessed SAP Middle East’s and SAP Saudi Arabia’s employee offerings on the following criteria:
• Talent Strategy
• Workforce Planning
• Learning & Development
• Performance Management
• Leadership Development
• Career & Succession Management
• Compensation & Benefits
SAP also received the prestigious certification in ten countries and two regions: Belgium, France, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, UK, and Europe for achieving certification in five countries and the Middle East for its certification in three countries.
Dennis Utter, Global Business Director for the Top Employers Institute: “Optimal employee conditions ensure that people can develop themselves personally and professionally. Our comprehensive research concluded that SAP Middle East provides an outstanding employment environment, and offers a wide range of creative initiatives, from secondary benefits and working conditions, to performance-management programs that are well thought out, and truly aligned with the culture of their company.”
