STC selects Cisco to provide MPLS network worldwide
This makes STC the leading provider of comprehensive telecommunication services in Saudi Arabia and also the first service provider in the Middle East to adopt the Carrier Routing System (CRS) under the name Cisco CRS-X and also to implement Cisco hosted collaboration service (HCS) solutions via HCS service. Once the new technological solutions are completely deployed, the enhanced STC network will provide Saudi Arabia with one of the world’s most sophisticated telecommunication infrastructures.

The CRS is characterized by being a smart system that is program and expansion-friendly and that it actually serves some of the world hugest service provider networks. This system will enable STC of effectively providing video, cloud storage and mobile services besides to promoting its network infrastructure to reach 100 GB and above.
Moreover, the HCS services will enable STC to provide its customers with audio and video calling services, unified message (UM) and instant messaging services in addition to a wide number of mobility options and privileges. The solution of Unified Communication as a Service (UCaaS) suits customers who don’t wish to invest, deploy or manage such technological services. The (UCaaS) solution will enable STC of providing its customers with telecommunication and collaboration services with more efficiency, extra flexibility, at higher speed and with such a high level of control and security.
